CIP systems

The process of cleaning the equipment that comes in contact with food products is an important part of food production. Manufacturers of food products should remember they are always obliged to maintain high hygiene standards.

Depending on the equipment’s location, a centralized or a decentralized CIP system is always a must for any dairy production. Centralized systems are mainly used in small dairy plants with relatively short communication lines.

These types of systems have a high degree of automation. The vessel is equipped with electrodes for monitoring the upper and lower limits, and the return of the cleaning solution is controlled by the conductivity sensor. The systems are also set up with output distribution through sewage areas: separate drain for the neutralization cleaning solution, separate drain for runoff water containing product remains, etc.

One big CIP station can be replaced by several small nodes located in the vicinity of different groups of technological equipment in the same dairy factory. These stations operated in accordance with the principle of using the minimum necessary, accurately measured, volume of liquid for each stage of cleaning program. This means each one of the nodes will use just as much as they need to fill in their separate washing circuit.

When building these systems we use only the highest quality components, manufactured in Europe, which comply with the DIN and ISO standards:

• heat exchangers and cleaning heads;
• pumping equipment, fittings and automatic valves - Inoxpa (Spain);
• vessels - Aginox (Italy);
• the automation equipment is based on components from Omron (Japan), Tecnologic (Italy), Saba (Italy), Manotherm (Germany), etc.
