Syrup production equipment

  Process description

Pharmaceutical syrups are produced by mixing purified water, sweeteners, active pharmaceutical ingredients, flavors, flavorings, and other components (thickeners, etc.). The ingredients are added in one or more reactors, with the help of such metering systems like flow meters or strain gauges. The amount of ingredients and the order in which they are added is determined by the recipe. As a rule, before finishing adding the ingredients, the product is being heated. The dry ingredients are added through vacuum systems and a blender specially designed for mixing dry / bulk and liquid media. After completion, the final product, if necessary, is filtered and sent into the tanks for storage. During the bottling process the product is fed by pumps.
