Production of syrups

  The syrup is produced as an intermediate product for the production of alcoholic drinks, kvass, and others.

  The white syrup is a concentrated aqueous solution with a sugar content of 60 to 80 Brix.

  We developed a system for the preparation of syrups based on the hot-plate heat exchanger method. The basic elements of a syrup preparation and storage system are:

  • Syrup brewing reactor with a built-in agitator;
  • Blender for adding powdered materials (sugar, fructose) during the process;
  • Sanitary heat exchanger;
  • Thermal agent feeding system;
  • The product circuit and CIP (main pump, diaphragm valves, filters, sensors, metering pump for dosing the concentrated solution for CIP cleaning);
  • Pipelines;
  • Remote control and registrations.

  By using the same system, the sugar syrup (used for flavor syrups) may be cooled to a temperature of 10-20° C and pumped into storage containers.

  The advantages of this system are:

  • Maintaining product uniformity;
  • Monitoring the concentration of the solution;
  • Lack of surface foam;
  • Possibility to use the system for both heating and cooling.
